Definitelystart taking folic acid now.
Folic acid decreases the chance of neural tube defects in children.
(You don't have to take a prenatal vitamin yet, but it's not a bad idea.)
Basic prenatal labs are always a good idea, too.
Make sure you're immune to Rubella, that you don't have anemia. If you haven't had chicken pox, you might get tested for that, as well.
These simple tests can be done at your doctor's office to decrease the chances of complications in pregnancy.
Finally, if you are not fit, start exercising now.

Eat all organic. I've heard that if you eat all organic while pregnant that the baby will sleep better (through most nights without crying) , and cry less.
