What advice do you have for O lineman on football highschool?

I weigh 230 am 5'9. What can I do to prepare for hell week? Like will running 1 mile a day help me? Or give me some tips so that I won't die in hell week. Thanks? And also what is the hardest thing to do there? I know gassers and bleacher miles, but what else?What advice do you have for O lineman on football highschool?
Whatever it is you do, make sure you drink a lot of water, and I mean a lot.What advice do you have for O lineman on football highschool?
dud what are you talking about hellweek? lol this aint the navy seals. If your talking about doubles, then just make sure your kinda fit and are committed. Where i play, we have 2 full weeks of doubles and it goes like this:


1st half


-Running and conditioning


- Classroom work


- Weight lifting


2nd half


-regular practice and more running





the hardest thing for you to do is probably the conditioning...dont worry if the skill players( running backs, wide recievers, quarterbacks, etc) blow by you, their job on the field is to run, yours is to block and make room for them to run. Also, if your 230 and a lot of it is fat...you really need to work on that.





Running will help but do more than that, try agility training like ladders, work out, eat right, get lots of sleep, and drink lots of water





Just make sure your committed...what grade are you in? if your going to be a freshman just make sure you want to play, i have seen lots of kids quit because it takes A LOT of time and effort.





And still...i dont know what this ';hell week'; os your talking about, but maybe thats a name for doubles where you live. But like i said, work out, do aerobics and agilty and all that, and most important of all EAT RIGHT, DRINK LOTS OF WATER, AND GET LOTS OF REST.
Run sprints.. Run a lot of Bleachers. Running only a mile a day won't cut it
Never at Hell Week before? Never played before and you're 5' 9';, 230 lb?


You gonna die.
