Advice........?

we bumped into others car ysterday and our car has a very big damage the shop estimates it as $2000. its our fault luckily the other car has no damage..some advises as not to charge it to the insurance for it will just increase our insurance premium. we also have an extended dealers warranty can we charge it to the extended warranty? pls helpAdvice........?
Errrr.... no, your extended warranty will not cover collision damage. Do you honestly believe your insurance premiums will increase over $2,000??

My advice is to contact your insurer at once -- before you get a medical demand letter form a lawyer for ER visits from the other party.Advice........?
um.. no.. damage you cause to your car is NOT covered on your extended warranty.. thats for mechanical failures caused by the manufacturer etc.

and seriously.. people crack me up. you really think your rates are going to raise 2000 dollars?! I always feel so bad for people who take care of damage themselves when it would have been so much cheaper to go through insurance.

and honestly.. COME ON.. you really think theres NO damage to the other car when you had 2k worth? not even a scratch? PLEASE.

What if you pay 2k to fix your car and THEN they call your insurance and your out of 2k PLUS you have a claim? What if they claim injury? You NEVER knwo what will happen.

Please.. do yourself a huge huge favor.. call insurance asap.
Be sure to report it to your insurance company since another vehicle was involved. What if they claimed bodily injury such as a back injury a month or two later and they get a lawyer and file a lawsuit.

You can still decide to pay for your damages if you wish. However, Insurance is very competitive at this point. Consider your deductible and past history when making the decision to pay for your damages yourself. As far as the extended warranty, I just can't imagine a car warranty paying for damages from an accident.
