Professional advice please, Is there a particular cleaning process to remove nicotiine stains from furniture??

I have an expensive sofa that is upholstered in a very heavy

cotton. It's a light beige pinstripe that has discolored somewhat due to smokers in the house. What would be

the proper way to clean this type of sofa so that it doesn't

discolor? Is there a chance that if cleaned professionally

without strong chemicals the nicotine stains will be removed

and the sofa will become restored to it's original state. It was purchased in 1994 and never been cleaned.

Thanks!Professional advice please, Is there a particular cleaning process to remove nicotiine stains from furniture??
nicotine is a greasy mess!! try rubbing some Dawn dish liquid (the original blue one) into the grease and rinse with a cold wash cloth. If there's alot of grease rub again and rinse again. Dawn will get the grease out. I've tried the other scents but they don't work.Professional advice please, Is there a particular cleaning process to remove nicotiine stains from furniture??
Without a doubt don't try to clean yourself. Hire a professional upholstery cleaner. They should be able to make it look new again even with nicotine stains..
