Have you tried the Fabric Sheets that you place in the dryer to make clothes soft? Here in Australia they are called Fabreeze. Also you can try to wipe the interior of the machine with a damp cloth containing Bicarbonate of soda. Leave for 20 mins and then wipe off. I swear by Bi carb. It neutralises smells in the fridge so why not in the dryer? No harm in trying.. Also a bottle of Nilodour comes to mind. Do you have it there?Any advice on how to get the smell of Goo Gone out of a dryer?
Did the Fabric sheets or the soda work? I don't want to try these solutions on my pet odour and goo gone problems unless they work!

The same thing happen to me and all I had to remove the
gum was NAIL POLISH REMOVER, then cleaned out the tub with a clean damp towel ....worked for me and got rid
of the bubble gum smell.....
Hopefully there's a product called Goo Gone Gone...
My best advice, just a little patience. I've done the same to rid ink stains from washing and drying pens from my work shirts. Goo Gone is almost like gasoline I'd suppose, and it will eventually evaporate. Don't add any more odors, it won't help...
