Any advice on heating an uninsulated garage with a space heater for a party in cold conditions?

Looking to heat my garage for a party for new years. Three of the walls are insulated, but the garage door and the roof is not. Outside temps are around 10 degree F. Patio heaters. Make sure you have fresh air with it. They run on propane in bottles and heat about a 20 foot circle so people will huddle under them if cold like brooding chickens.

If you would like to benefit from you expertise when say working on the car or remodeling at a later date I would suggest a wall hung propane heater around 245 for small unit a little more for model with fan for circulation. or could add fan later don't have to be a rocket scientist to install just need to drill hole for 3/8-1/2 gas line use small grill propane tank 2 hours hook up if you can change a battery. luck

Becasue its an enclosed space your limited to electrical space heaters. The more effective kerosene and gas heaters produce byproducts of combustion .





It may be possible to insulate your garage using the equivalent of curtains.





Additionaly, the more people you have the less additional heat sources you will need.
If your clothes drier is in the garage disconnect the duct to the outside and use the drier to heat the garage. (no clothes)
