What is the best advice for college freshmen?

Finally graduated high school. What is some good advice to help me succeed in college academically, and socially for that matter? What is the best advice for college freshmen?
It's not like high school, where you can get by doing almost nothing. You actually have to know your stuff. Make sure you go to all the classes. It'll almost guarantee you an A if you are always there and spend a little time each day going over your notes, so that when the tests come around it's not so overwhelming. Also, quite a few teachers will take roll every once in awhile and give extra credit and stuff.

Be smart about partying! Seriously, it's not very fun staying up really late when you have a test at 9 the next morning or something. But don't forget to have fun! Like Chef said on South Park, ';There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.'; Good luck! :)What is the best advice for college freshmen?
1st Year: Drink some (tons of) drinks, do some (tons of) drugs, and try to make it to class

2nd Year: Get fired up, make it to class, impress some teachers

3rd Year: Study your *** off

4th Year: You own this place and you have earned it

College after the first year is all about moderation. Also, most of them are full of idiots, so it's really not that hard to shine without working that hard. Unless you are an idiot.
Stick with it. It becomes very overwhelming sometimes having to manage everything on your own for the first time. Also, do your hw! It is so easy to go back to your dorm and then decide not to do it. You have to. Also, go find help sessions/rooms for ur classes. That was the only way I was able to pass Calc.

oh, and have fun!
Rock out with your c*ck out and go to class.
