Does anyone have good advice for bringing out your natural highlights?

I have dark brown hair and I want to bring out my natural red/blonde highlights without any of the harsh chemicals. Any advice? Does lemon juice work on brunettes, or does anyone have anyone have other ideas?Does anyone have good advice for bringing out your natural highlights?
Here is some information I found that will be helpful to you ............

Step 1:

Know that with all of these applications, it's best to apply to freshly washed and damp hair. Allow the mixture of your choice to sit on your hair for an hour, preferably in the sun for a more dramatic effect. Wash it out and condition your hair afterward.

Step 2:

Start by juicing some lemons and mix 1/4 cup of juice with 3/4 cup of water. Spray the mixture on your hair. Depending on the color of your natural hair, this may bring out the natural blond highlights you desire.

Step 3:

Brew chamomile tea, and once it's cooled, apply it to your hair. This can be particularly effective in bringing out golden highlights in brown hair.

Step 4:

Combine 1 cup of lemon juice and 3 cups of chamomile tea. This combination might be just the right formula to get the best shade of blond highlights for your coloring.

Step 5:

Use a commercially available leave-in conditioner or find a line of color-enhancing shampoos and conditioners designed to bring out blond or red highlights. As with other non-chemical treatments, this may take a few applications to obtain the right highlights.

Step 6:

Try to bring out natural red highlights by using a combination of 1/2 cup of beet juice with 1/2 cup of carrot juice on your hair.

Step 7:

Expose your hair to the sun all summer long and you'll probably find your hair has gotten natural blonde or red highlights, particularly if you spend a lot of time at the pool.

You might just look in the shamppo/conditioner section at the store, reading labels. I have seen products on tv that claim to do this.
There is also a product called ';Sun In';. I have very dark brown hair and have natural red highlights. It worked really well on me.
