Please quote it.
Now, if it was a passage of how to be saved, what other advice do you find that could be useful to people of all beliefs or lack of that does not relate to being saved. Also, please quote this one. What is the most valuable advice that Jesus gives in the Bible?
John 15:12 ';My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.';What is the most valuable advice that Jesus gives in the Bible?
Matthew 5: 38- 42
';You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'
But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on (your) right cheek, turn the other one to him as well.
If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic, hand him your cloak as well.
Should anyone press you into service for one mile, 26 go with him for two miles.
Give to the one who asks of you, and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow.
Be loving.
That's what Jesus himself answered when asked what the best advice was. If someone feeds you an answer about ';how to get saved,'; they need to recheck their own precious Bible.
Matthew 22: 35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
St. Matthew 23:15 Woe onto you scribes and pharisees, for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him two fold more the child of hell than yourselves! This tells us, it is not about a religion being dominating, but a family of all within the fruits and laws!
Mark 12
30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
The Greatest Commandment
34Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
36';Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?'; 37Jesus replied: '; 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[c] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.';
';If ye love me, keep my commandments.';
If you truly love Him, you will follow all His counsel... and things can only get better from there.
';My god, my god why has thou forsaken me?';
He obviously had a lot of faith in daddy dearest.
';Do unto others what you want them to do to you';
';let he who is without sin cast the first stone';
I would say, ';let he who is without sin, cast the first stone';
Love your neighbor.

What is the best advice for starting a new business?
I really want to start my own business but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I want my business to basically be a small restaurant/coffee house. My mother made me a photo album full of homemade stews and crockpot recipes. I'm hoping that a ';real food'; diner will be more accepted since in a city REAL food is hard to find (especially where I am). I am really looking for advice that if the idea is first of all a good one and secondly where I can be directed to start this business. It will be from the ground up.
My dream is to have a place that you are more then welcome to come have something good to eat or just be able to sit and have a cup of coffee and read. Guess the only reason I want to start a new business is b/c I think that first of all it can succeed and I have trouble working for others so what better excuse to become my own boss.
Has anyone else just started new? I'm 24 - scared out of my mind - and excited! Thanks first of all.What is the best advice for starting a new business?
Your idea sound great. Translating it to reality requires thoughtful consideration to many things. You should develop a basic business plan that includes projected costs to open, equip, hire and pay employees and taxes, and a revenue projection as to how many customers per day and average income from their meals minus your costs which will give you net income. You may want to contact you Small Business Administration office in your area for help with this. They have seasoned advisers who will be very frank about what it takes from the planning stage, to the financing stage, location, equipment, suppliers, employees, and which type of corporation model you choose. You want to determine your break-even point in dollars and time, especially if you to apply for a bank loan. Banks ordinarily look at the worst case scenario so the better prepared the better the chances for a loan. You can go to Amazon and search for books but I think the best way is to talk to some folks who have been there.What is the best advice for starting a new business?

What is the best advice for someone that wants to start a real estate investment company?
I'm 20 years old, with about $60,000 in capital. I' tired of working for these jobs. I want to start my own company and i love real estate. I'm not in it for the short term, and i'm not trying to get rich quick. I'm willing to take my time and get rich slow but right. Any advice will help.What is the best advice for someone that wants to start a real estate investment company?
Your 60k can go towards purchasing an income producing property. In NY where I'm from 60k maybe able to buy one or two-family houses (put down payments %26amp; closing costs, two is stretching). They range from 400k+, if you can put down 5% and have the buyer pay your closing costs and roll it into the mortgage (seller concession) you might be able to buy two homes. The problem is that the smaller the downpayment the larger your mortgage payment. I personally would put down as much as you can on one property, rent it out and if you see another property you purchase the property using the equity you have on the first and keep repeating the process. My friends brother owns 4 homes (1 in NY and 3 outside of NY) which he rents out. Once the mortgage is paid off on all the properties then he will sell and pocket all the $$$ with a small amount of capital coming out of his pocket.What is the best advice for someone that wants to start a real estate investment company?
I am a fellow real estate investor. Perhaps I can help.
It's great you are not looking for a short term, get rich quick scheme. Building wealth through real estate is a long term, systematic process.
The real question you need to ask is how to ';leverage'; the amount of money you have rather than ';how to use'; the money you have.
My wife and I are avid investors in real estate. We own two investment companies have closed 6 deals in last year alone. One we live in-we did not come out of pocket. One we bought outright and it has since tripled in value and 4 we bought using no money down strategies and all of them are cash flowing.
I would say, first get an entity structure in place. You need to start some business entities and be strategic about which states you select to start them in. Decide whcih type, (LLC, C Corp, S Corp, etc). Spend some money getting them properly set up so they can be seasoning. Once seasoned, corp credit will be available and you will need less of your own money and can use more of other peoples'.
While that's happening, spend some money educating yourself as far as real estate goes. I can make some reccomendations of great teachers/books, etc.
Then start looking for deals. The only money you should be willing to spend of the $60k you have is to set the business up and education. Most deals can be done with little to no money down.
I hope this helps. There is so much that goes into it. I can't write it all here. If you have specific questions-I would be more than happy to answer them.

Does anyone have good advice for bringing out your natural highlights?
I have dark brown hair and I want to bring out my natural red/blonde highlights without any of the harsh chemicals. Any advice? Does lemon juice work on brunettes, or does anyone have anyone have other ideas?Does anyone have good advice for bringing out your natural highlights?
Here is some information I found that will be helpful to you ............
Step 1:
Know that with all of these applications, it's best to apply to freshly washed and damp hair. Allow the mixture of your choice to sit on your hair for an hour, preferably in the sun for a more dramatic effect. Wash it out and condition your hair afterward.
Step 2:
Start by juicing some lemons and mix 1/4 cup of juice with 3/4 cup of water. Spray the mixture on your hair. Depending on the color of your natural hair, this may bring out the natural blond highlights you desire.
Step 3:
Brew chamomile tea, and once it's cooled, apply it to your hair. This can be particularly effective in bringing out golden highlights in brown hair.
Step 4:
Combine 1 cup of lemon juice and 3 cups of chamomile tea. This combination might be just the right formula to get the best shade of blond highlights for your coloring.
Step 5:
Use a commercially available leave-in conditioner or find a line of color-enhancing shampoos and conditioners designed to bring out blond or red highlights. As with other non-chemical treatments, this may take a few applications to obtain the right highlights.
Step 6:
Try to bring out natural red highlights by using a combination of 1/2 cup of beet juice with 1/2 cup of carrot juice on your hair.
Step 7:
Expose your hair to the sun all summer long and you'll probably find your hair has gotten natural blonde or red highlights, particularly if you spend a lot of time at the pool.

Good Luck ~~~Does anyone have good advice for bringing out your natural highlights?
You might just look in the shamppo/conditioner section at the store, reading labels. I have seen products on tv that claim to do this.
There is also a product called ';Sun In';. I have very dark brown hair and have natural red highlights. It worked really well on me.natural lipstick

I am looking for advice for a good charity to help the poor and wondering what people think of World Vision?
I am not a Christian so would prefer a non-denomination organization or at least one that does not push a particular religion. The most important aspects are the percentage of money that gets to the people who need it and also promoting practices such as farming that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. I have been giving money to World Vision for years but when I see some of the pictures of the farming practices, I wonder how much planning is going into sustainable practices. Thanks.I am looking for advice for a good charity to help the poor and wondering what people think of World Vision?
I think very highly of World Vision and have been sponsoring a child for years through them. They are based on Christian principles but help everyone, regardless of religion and do not push Christianity on them at all. I've seen several of their projects in the Middle East (helping both Christians and Muslims) and Africa and was impressed with how they are helping to make the communities sustainable.
As far as farming, I visited a project of theirs in the Gaza Strip. It was a permaculture program where they are growing food with little water since water is so scarce there and the sea is salty so doesn't work for farming without desalination.I am looking for advice for a good charity to help the poor and wondering what people think of World Vision?
Care International and World Vision are great organizations. You may also want to take a look at Kids Against Hunger Metro Atlanta, www.KAHAtlanta.org
Donate locally. You have more control of how your money is spent. Big charities have big salaries...
I prefer Care International, because it is NOT a religious organization, and is focused on activities that will lead to education and sustainable incomes for women and girls -- those who are most affected by poverty. I'm so impressed with their success in the developing world, as well as their focus.
I'm also a supporter of Madre.org, for similar reasons.
I'm not a Christian either but support a child through them. You will hear good and bad about most charities, people have told me WV rips people off, however,my grandparents have sponsored children since I was a kid, and now they are successful, and helping others out now that they can. I say go for it!!

Can anyone give me advice on how to handfeed a baby African love bird?
How many days old should the chick be when I take it away from the parents?
Where to I put it? Do I need to build a nest?
What kind of food do I give? Do I also give water?
Other tips?Can anyone give me advice on how to handfeed a baby African love bird?
If you don't know what you are doing, there is a very good chance of you aspirating the birds (choking them to death) The wind pipe is right beside where you must put the food, and a novice can kill the baby quickly. Judging from the questions you ask, you really don't know anything. Wait til the next batch of babies to hand feed. Till then, learn. But with this clutch, you can start to handle the babies when they get some feathers. You can still make them nice and friendly.Can anyone give me advice on how to handfeed a baby African love bird?
You can hand-raise chicks early but you need to get a formula from the pet store or vet mix with water and when feeding keep a bowl of hot water so you can place the formula bowl inside it to keep the food warm they wont eat it if it is slightly cold they will get water from this aswell keep it nested in a warm towel or blanket I hand raise my ringnecks from about 2weeks old you can get a feeding syringe from the vet or get a teaspoon and bend up both sides of the spoon and they will take it off that keep a warm damp cloth on hand to wipe beak and feathers clean as it is messy feeding them with the spoon.If the bird is very young you will need the syringe feel its gullet so you dont overfeed this is inbetween the neck and chest area.Goodluck
If you don't already know these things you shouldn't be trying to hand raise babies that already have parents.
Seriously, do some reading and learn more first or your baby will die.
