Hello, I live in US, and I am planning on visiting Germany with my friend. We are looking to spend $1500 ~ $2000 per person, and I've seen the prices on round trip air tickets and are way beyond our limit. The prices of round trip in February is around $430, but in July the prices jumped to $1130.
Does anybody know how to make this trip in our budget? We are only 21 years old and are still in college... %26gt;.%26lt;Can anyone give me an advice on making a trip to Germany more economical?
so go in February! or plan a very short visit in July...would be a drag, though, to spend more than half your budget on airfare. But if you do go in peak season, supply %26amp; demand forces the price of the tix up--the airlines can fill those seats at $1130, so they do!
Right now, anywhere in the Euro zone is verrrry expensive for us poor dollar earners. Why not go to Mexico or South America instead? a lot more bang for your buck! Can anyone give me an advice on making a trip to Germany more economical?
Buying your plane tickets 2 weeks or more ahead of time brings down ticket prices considerably. If you have some flexibility on the dates, always check numerous dates. In general, the %26gt;cheapest%26lt; days to travel on are:--%26gt;Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday%26lt;--. The more options you give the airlines, the cheaper they are willing to sell the tickets.
I found some cheap flight tickets for......Atlanta, GA to San Juan, PR ........4 days stay with hotel at $313 per person, it was awesome. Even found some Berlin, germany tickets for $1,390.....price fluctuates a lot though...
Found it on this website:
http://www.ytbtravel.com/RobertFoster
If you could depart to Germany before July 1, sometimes it's slightly cheaper, because a couple of airlines don't start full peak-season pricing until July 1. Try http://www.bookingbuddy.com and student ticket consolidators http://www.statravel.com and http://www.travelcuts.com and http://www.studentuniverse.com -- FRA, MUC, and DUS are usually cheapest, but also check HAM, CGN, BER, and STR if you could. Depending where exactly in Germany, a major neighboring might turn up much cheaper flights, such as AMS, BSL, or PRG.
Also, where exactly will you depart from? I ask because there are 2 low-cost airlines serving some US and Canadian cities straight to Germany. I'll check back to see if you added details.

Indian Fry Bread
Indian Tacos
Fry Bread Dessert
Indian Fry Bread
2 cups self-rising flour
About a tbsp. baking powder
About a cup of milk or water
Mix the flour and baking powder together. Add milk or water and stir to make a stiff dough but workable with your hands (not sticky). Knead together a few times till dough is smooth. Pinch off a piece of the dough about the size of a small rubber ball (for large piece of Fry Bread). The old way is to flour your hands and flatten between the palms until the size of a small dessert plate to about 1/4 inch thick. If this is difficult for you to do, put the dough on a floured surface and flatten with palm of hands or roll with a rolling pin to form about a 6-inch circle. Keep your hands floured as you work with the dough. I use an 8-inch iron skillet filled with Canola oil or another good vegetable oil to fry the dough. Fry until the dough is a light golden brown and turn to fry both sides. Drain on paper towels.
Indian Tacos
Make Fry Bread above. Brown one pound of ground beef and remove grease. Add one package of Taco Seasoning Mix following directions on package. Spoon taco meat mixture on top of Fry Bread, add grated cheddar cheese (or taco cheeses), chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, chopped lettuce and salsa on top. You can vary this with your favorite toppings such as adding sour cream. A lot of Indian cooks use chili instead of the taco seasoned meat.
Fry Bread Dessert
You can also make delicious desserts with Fry Bread. There are several variations here or experiment with your own creations.
1. Make Fry Bread and sprinkle with powdered sugar, honey or sugar and cinnamon.
2. Top with your favorite fruit pie filling. Top with whipped cream.
3. Top with fresh cut up fruits, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, etc. with a little sugar added. Then top with whipped cream. Can i please have some advice from some Native Americans?

Fry Bread
鈥?3 cups all-purpose flour
鈥?1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
鈥?pinch of salt
鈥?1-1/3 cups warm water
鈥?vegetable oil for frying
鈥?honey
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the water and knead the dough until soft. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured board until 1/4'; thick. Cut out 4'; rounds. Heat 1';-2'; of oil in a saucepan. Fry the bread until puffed. Turn bread when edges are brown. own on both sides. Serve with honey.
And finally, a recipe for grape dumplings that are delicious:
Grape Dumplings
鈥? cup flour
鈥? 陆 tsp baking powder
鈥? tsp sugar
鈥⒙?tsp salt
鈥? tbsp shortening
鈥⒙?cup grape juice
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and shortening. Add juice and mix into stiff dough. Roll dough very thin on floured board and cut into strips 陆'; wide (or roll dough in hands and break off pea-sized bits). Drop into boiling grape juice and cook for 10 - 12 minutes.
These are from an old cookbook that I used to own and lost. But then I found the recipes online about a year or so ago. Enjoy!
I'm native american and I would like to know how to make all that too!
You could probably find all that out by yourself on the web though.

Can anyone give me good advice on how to make an outstanding good-tasting steak using a pan-fry method?
It's winter and too cold to grill outdoors. I'd love to know how to make a steak taste great but using the pan-fry method. Include any suggestions on preping too if you know some great techniques because I've never done that, I always just throw it on (after tenderizing a tad with punctures). I feel I can do better to make a great-tasting steak. I normally use ribeyes. Thanks. Can anyone give me good advice on how to make an outstanding good-tasting steak using a pan-fry method?
The heavier the pan the better....a cast iron grill pan would be best if you have it. Make sure the pan is smoking hot so you can sear the steak. Don't keep moving it around. Do one side and then the other and that's it. I don't season my steak until just before it's done. Can anyone give me good advice on how to make an outstanding good-tasting steak using a pan-fry method?
I just use a cast iron skillet, a stick of butter,
sautee onions, green peppers and sliced mushrooms,
and season with garlic, pepper, salt and cajun seasoning
You can also marinade the meat first
a little papaya, beer or yogurt are good tenderizing marinades.
Do not cook too fast, if you want it a little crisper you can broil it in the oven for a few minutes.
pan frying...first you need a nice heavy bottomed skillet...cast iron is awesome....take the steak out of the frig about 15-20 minutes before cooking to let get close room temp....heat pan with veg oil....higher smoking pt.....until fiery hot...just to the smoke....season steak...i use grill seasoning...place in pan...DO NOT MOVE AROUND...you want a sear...develop a crust...depending on thickness....say 1 inch thick...4 1/2-5 minutes on first side....maybe 4 on the next for med rare...nice and pink in the middle....take steak out let rest 7-10 minutes...slice thin against the grain....or for single serving....plate...good luck....
tbsp olive oil in cast iron skillet, heat til it smokes.
I like to rub a little soy sauce on meat along with majoram and corse black pepper.
Once pan smokin place steak in for about 2 min each side till it is kind of crusty.
Do not smash as you will release all the juices
If a thick steak and needs to cook a little more, I place it in a preheated oven a 350 for about 5 min. or less on a oven safe plate..
1 1/2 in steak will then be med rare to med.
Walla nummy steak.
hi.. if u r takng abut the steak kebab... then i'ts simple ..
what ever meat u want to fixed in it... just grill the meat fist in the pan.. while using the brandy... it will coof fast..and taste better.. and then fix it with vegetable u wnt 2 useand grill with vegetable with olive oil.. only....!!! and in the meanwhile seequuze a lemon it .. and season it... with salt and peppe..
You need cast iron, heat, and a really good oven mitt to make the perfect steak- but this really is perfect.
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F (a very hot oven produces a juicy interior). Place cast-iron skillet in oven. When oven reaches 500 degrees temperature, remove pan from oven and place on range over high heat (the pan and the handle will be extremely hot - be careful).
Immediately place steaks in the middle of hot, dry pan (if cooking more than one piece of meat, add the pieces carefully so that they are not touching each other). Cook 1 to 2 minutes without moving; turn with tongs and cook another 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and put the cast iron skillet with the steaks in it into the oven. Cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes, depending on thickness of steaks and degree of doneness you like. When the steaks are crusty-charred and done to your liking, remove from the pan, cover loosely with aluminum foil and let rest 5-10 minutes before serving. During this time the meat continues to cook (meat temperature will rise 5 to 10 degrees after it is removed from the oven) and the juices redistribute
.
I usually make steak in a pan....the trick is not to cook it too long (depending on how well-done you like it)...i like mine to have some pink in the middle.
I season the steak (I use a mix of salt, pepper, paprika, dry mustard), then get the pan really hot before putting the steak in - it is hot enough once you can only hold your hand just above the bottom of the pan for no longer than a few seconds. Then you put the steak (usually the fat from the steak is enough, but sometimes you can add olive oil or cooking spary). I cook mine for about 2 minutes each side, then immeidately take the steak out of the pan and put on a cool plate, let it sit for 5 minutes before cutting it....if you cut it when its really hot, all the juices will run out....
I like to take the same pan off the burner, add a pat of butter and some sliced mushrooms and/or onions, return it to medium heat, then a couple dashes of worchestire sauce and saute them until done...and top the steak.
Yumm!

What is the most valuable advice that Jesus gives in the Bible?
Please quote it.
Now, if it was a passage of how to be saved, what other advice do you find that could be useful to people of all beliefs or lack of that does not relate to being saved. Also, please quote this one. What is the most valuable advice that Jesus gives in the Bible?
John 15:12 ';My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.';What is the most valuable advice that Jesus gives in the Bible?
Matthew 5: 38- 42
';You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'
But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on (your) right cheek, turn the other one to him as well.
If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic, hand him your cloak as well.
Should anyone press you into service for one mile, 26 go with him for two miles.
Give to the one who asks of you, and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow.
Be loving.
That's what Jesus himself answered when asked what the best advice was. If someone feeds you an answer about ';how to get saved,'; they need to recheck their own precious Bible.
Matthew 22: 35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
St. Matthew 23:15 Woe onto you scribes and pharisees, for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him two fold more the child of hell than yourselves! This tells us, it is not about a religion being dominating, but a family of all within the fruits and laws!
Mark 12
30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
The Greatest Commandment
34Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
36';Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?'; 37Jesus replied: '; 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[c] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.';
';If ye love me, keep my commandments.';
If you truly love Him, you will follow all His counsel... and things can only get better from there.
';My god, my god why has thou forsaken me?';
He obviously had a lot of faith in daddy dearest.
';Do unto others what you want them to do to you';
';let he who is without sin cast the first stone';
I would say, ';let he who is without sin, cast the first stone';
Love your neighbor.

What is the best advice for starting a new business?
I really want to start my own business but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I want my business to basically be a small restaurant/coffee house. My mother made me a photo album full of homemade stews and crockpot recipes. I'm hoping that a ';real food'; diner will be more accepted since in a city REAL food is hard to find (especially where I am). I am really looking for advice that if the idea is first of all a good one and secondly where I can be directed to start this business. It will be from the ground up.
My dream is to have a place that you are more then welcome to come have something good to eat or just be able to sit and have a cup of coffee and read. Guess the only reason I want to start a new business is b/c I think that first of all it can succeed and I have trouble working for others so what better excuse to become my own boss.
Has anyone else just started new? I'm 24 - scared out of my mind - and excited! Thanks first of all. What is the best advice for starting a new business?
Your idea sound great. Translating it to reality requires thoughtful consideration to many things. You should develop a basic business plan that includes projected costs to open, equip, hire and pay employees and taxes, and a revenue projection as to how many customers per day and average income from their meals minus your costs which will give you net income. You may want to contact you Small Business Administration office in your area for help with this. They have seasoned advisers who will be very frank about what it takes from the planning stage, to the financing stage, location, equipment, suppliers, employees, and which type of corporation model you choose. You want to determine your break-even point in dollars and time, especially if you to apply for a bank loan. Banks ordinarily look at the worst case scenario so the better prepared the better the chances for a loan. You can go to Amazon and search for books but I think the best way is to talk to some folks who have been there. What is the best advice for starting a new business?
I just read an interesting and a pretty good article @ yahoo (title says it all) ';The 7 Most Overrated Businesses'; You may read it at: http://smallbusinessanswers.yahoo.com/overrat
Taylan YALNIZ

What is the best advice for someone that wants to start a real estate investment company?
I'm 20 years old, with about $60,000 in capital. I' tired of working for these jobs. I want to start my own company and i love real estate. I'm not in it for the short term, and i'm not trying to get rich quick. I'm willing to take my time and get rich slow but right. Any advice will help. What is the best advice for someone that wants to start a real estate investment company?
Your 60k can go towards purchasing an income producing property. In NY where I'm from 60k maybe able to buy one or two-family houses (put down payments %26amp; closing costs, two is stretching). They range from 400k+, if you can put down 5% and have the buyer pay your closing costs and roll it into the mortgage (seller concession) you might be able to buy two homes. The problem is that the smaller the downpayment the larger your mortgage payment. I personally would put down as much as you can on one property, rent it out and if you see another property you purchase the property using the equity you have on the first and keep repeating the process. My friends brother owns 4 homes (1 in NY and 3 outside of NY) which he rents out. Once the mortgage is paid off on all the properties then he will sell and pocket all the $$$ with a small amount of capital coming out of his pocket. What is the best advice for someone that wants to start a real estate investment company?
I am a fellow real estate investor. Perhaps I can help.
It's great you are not looking for a short term, get rich quick scheme. Building wealth through real estate is a long term, systematic process.
The real question you need to ask is how to ';leverage'; the amount of money you have rather than ';how to use'; the money you have.
My wife and I are avid investors in real estate. We own two investment companies have closed 6 deals in last year alone. One we live in-we did not come out of pocket. One we bought outright and it has since tripled in value and 4 we bought using no money down strategies and all of them are cash flowing.
I would say, first get an entity structure in place. You need to start some business entities and be strategic about which states you select to start them in. Decide whcih type, (LLC, C Corp, S Corp, etc). Spend some money getting them properly set up so they can be seasoning. Once seasoned, corp credit will be available and you will need less of your own money and can use more of other peoples'.
While that's happening, spend some money educating yourself as far as real estate goes. I can make some reccomendations of great teachers/books, etc.
Then start looking for deals. The only money you should be willing to spend of the $60k you have is to set the business up and education. Most deals can be done with little to no money down.
I hope this helps. There is so much that goes into it. I can't write it all here. If you have specific questions-I would be more than happy to answer them.
